This was taken about 7 years ago, I only had a second to take the photo & had my camera on full auto, focusing with the center focal point. I had to crop it in editing. When you only have a second to take the shot & you're just learning what photography terminology means, like leading lines, don't center the subjects, learn the rules, then break them, lol. Sometimes I still have no idea what some of those mean but it's not what makes me love photography. It was having fun, I forget that sometimes. The best advice I can ever give a new photographer, is practice, practice, practice & keep learning. There is so much to learn & so many different photography genres, you can never learn everything.

This is the time of year for the best sunsets, or in this case, a sunrise with the sun coming up behind me & the colors bursting over the valley.

He was such a good sleeper, wish I could have taken 100 more photos of him. All window light for now but I need to get a lighting set up eventually. These turned out better than I could have hoped for.

Newborn & mama to be photos, are my favorite.
Decided to invest in a few newborn items, including blankets, wraps, tie backs, slouchies, sleeping caps, bonnets & more....ok, maybe a few more than a few ;)
This was at babies home, the home was super warm & I was blessed with a perfect beautiful window!
